So for starters I recently rebuilt my 60 tank. It's 48x13x24. I started stocking it with corals recently and my lfs has had a lot of sps frags for cheap. I ultimately want it to be a mixed reef heavier on the LPS side of things. I'm running a sicce 3.0 for return of about 600gph through two returns. I also have two hydor 850 gph pumps on a wave maker and two nano 450 on my controller. They are only on during the day hours and off at night. Is this enough from to keep sps corals. I currently have a Monti cap frag. A few acro frags and a montipora digitata.

Thanks for you help guys

are all your wavemakers/powerheads off at night? i think you need them on 24/7 regardless of the corals you're keeping, sps, lps or softies.

Agreed, run the pumps 24/7, although you could dial down the controllable pumps to 50% at night if you want, but leave the rest at 100%. You have enough flow for SPS corals as is.

no just the Nanos turn off the two 850's stay on and continue to alternate every minute. Thanks guys just wanted to make sure I was getting enough flow.
