just noticed my clowns that has been together for months now, they start fighting ONLY when the moon lights are on, no aggression when tank light is on or when I completely turn off the fixture

p.s. looks like the damn chromis is instigating the fight too

Are they the same size or is one slightly larger? Basically I'm asking if they are for sure male and female now. Also if are hosting an anemone or a coral they may be establishing who's boss.

They are establishing their sex and male/female dominance. The one that goes into the shaky submissive position will become the male. The other will grow faster and become the female. Common behavior for clowns.

they are almost the same size, just one is slightly bigger. they do sleep in my frogspawn. I guess I just find it weird that they only act like this when moonlight is on. during the day and when fixture is off, they act normal and best buds.

if you notice, the moment I turn on the light, they stop immediately
