Zoas wont close? Over extended

Everyone posts about zoas polyps not opening up, what about when the wont close? They look over extended, almost buckled over and stay this way. I can touch em, take em out of water, feed em, it doesn't make a difference. Are they dead? I have 2 frags of red people eaters doing this. Here's one pic

If they were dead they would just melt away. I wouldn't sweat it. I have some palys that are open all the time unless they catch something to eat.

I have 30+ kinds of zoas... some random ones would open at night. weird, but normal. so relax and enjoy it :) you can start worrying when they don't open...

Okay, didnt know if it was anything in particular. Thought it was super weird they wont close when touched. Thanks
