It might be coral? ID assistance needed!

I found this rock with the green things on the beach, but I am not sure what they are. They glow under actinics and look like they might be coral.

Originally I thought they were some kind of plant, but that doesn't seem like the case due to the glowing. Help!

It's really hard to tell what it is from the photo. I'd guess it might be a sponge.

Hmm that would be cool. In that case maybe I will try putting it a higher flow area of the tank.
