How can I stop GSP???

Yeah I have a rock given to me, put it in a great location, it's on the move and going for SPS. How can I stop this growth???

You need to take the rock out of the tank if possible and scrape it off

You could just smother the mat with some epoxy. I used to manipulate the growth of mine this way all the time.

Move it or it will overtake everything.... If it can keep growing it will...

As stated you need to keep it on it's own rock.

When a piece of mine would break off and float over to another rock and attach (it does happen), what I did was take a razor and cut the rock away. It stopped growing back in that location.
