I know it is not popular, but.... is it possible to begin a QT process for a Viewing tank to observe first livestock until there is a cycled tank and have successful results?

I'm not sure what you're asking. Are you asking if it is safe to look at your fish while they are in quarantine?

If you are asking can you place fish in your display tank while the display tank is cycling, no, the ammonia will kill your livestock. You could place fish in your display tank if you kept it bare and cycle the rock in a separate container. If your fish had a disease you would need to treat them in your display tank and be sure there was nothing in the display tank that would absorb medications.

I suggest that one does not attempt to avoid doing something that is both extremely easy and extremely necessary; that is cycling for both QT and DT, separately and independently.
Cycling a medium for QT is even simplier and easier than cycling a reef tank.
One should cycle the medium intended for QT very robustly; that is with quite a bit of ammonia.

After rereading my question, I can see what you mean. But no. That is not what I was trying to ask.
Rephrasing it.
I am going to cycle a tank .with shrimp in a 120 gal. DT using distilled water
At the same time that I begin the cycle, ,I want to purchase a cleanup crew and put it into another smaller tank whose water is treated with Prime to observe(QT) and see if there is a problem with any of them before they go into the tank.
My thought is that cuc should be clear to be put into the aquarium at the same time with both the tank cycled and their observation time (or QT as some will say)over.
I am not trying to cut corners but only trying to use time wisely and get this damn tank going asap.

Good suggestion.
