Ok I have a 160 Sps reef tank total vol around 250, I run doesing pumps with the bulk reef supply 2 part for cal and alk. Calcium starts at 12am and runs the first 20 min of every hour till 12pm and alk starts at 12pm and runs first 20 mins till 12am and I can't get my calcium above 340.I've even tried dumping as much as 700 ml of calcium in. Test as of this morning
Temp. 78.8
Ph: 8.2
Calcium: 340
Alk. :9.9
Salinity:1.026
Phosphates :.14
All my coral is alive with decent color just not really getting any growth I really need so ideas to what's going on.

You would need to dose 157.2 grams of Esv calcium chloride to bring your calcium up from 340ppm to 400ppm. You cannot add alkalinity at the same time because it will precipitate the calcium out.

Do you measure your mag? If your mag is low, then your kh and cal fight each other.. I would bet thats your problem..

How are you measuring it?
Are you doing water cahnges? If so, how much and what's the calcium content of the new salt .

Is there abiotic precipitation showing up?
