I picked one up today and its already eating my aiptasia. I always keep a close eye on my corals to make sure they are not closed up. How many of you have had them leave your good stuff alone?

Put mine in to the "developed an appetite for LPS" category, a bad habit it picked up from a Flame Angel. They both went to new aquariums. As with all fish, you might want to keep an eye on it.

I had a mimic saddle puffer filefish and he had a ton of personality...until we wanted to check out the inside of an MP10. Not much personality after that. I had him about a year and I never noticed him nip anything but I think it is a crap shoot if/when they do. I would most likely not get another.

I had a Matted Filefish. It cleaned up my aiptasia problem in a couple of weeks. Then it went after the LPS. I traded it back to the LFS.

My matted filefish ate a single aiptasia before deciding it preferred acans.

Well I hope he decides to live a nice life in my tank. If he gets out of line, back the store. I'm just so sick of aiptasia.

A dozen peppermint shrimp took care of my aiptasia issue in a few weeks. I understand they're hit and miss with coral bothering too, but I've not had major issues with them as I did with the filefish.
