Hi reef friends, do any of you keep a Blueface angel or any large angel that feeds on NLS pellets almost exclusively. My angel basically eats only NLS pellets and Im afraid he will not get the nutrients he deserves. Very rarely do I see him pick on he rocks even though there are sponges algae and all kinds of growths on it. I even have zoas which he can eat if he wants to.
I quarantined the angel for 3 weeks on a variety of foods like mysis and nori for at least 3 weeks. But when in the main tank he seems skittish and hides during a mysis cloud storm or other type of frozen food. When the pellets come out he goes nuts and eats in open water and on the bottom of the tank where uneaten pellets collect.
