Ok so my volitans has been living happily with tank mates for 2 years. Snowflake eel,foxface rabbit and valentini puffer.
He has always chased the Toby round as expected but as it's a big tank an the Toby is fast he never even gets close, but recently he has been battering my foxface.. Not trying to eat him but boxing him into a corner and fin nipping, I didn't even realise lions did this!
But now I find my fox on the bottom of the tank with the lion hovering over him an the fox has a massive red lump under his fin I'm guessing from a lion sting
I've pulled him out into a q tank but is this normal?! I thought foxface rabbits were a great tank ate for a lion.. Btw it's not a baby either it's about 9' an been in the tank 2 years without an issue
