25gal rimless setup

Here is my 25 gallon rimless setup. It has been cycling with a 3lb pice of live rock for about a week. I am waiting on my dry rock to come in the mail. I am running a canister filter with chemipure elite and carbon at the moment. it is going to be mostly zoa's, shrooms and possibly acan's. Lighting will be a current led. Should work out fine the tank is only 18 in deep. Let me know what you guys think. Any insight is always helpful.

When you get a chance, id recommend a refractometer to measure specific gravity, a hydrometer will suffice for now, but the I've always be a little hesitant in trusting a hydrometer. The refractometer is deadly accurate as long as it is calibrated correctly. You may also want to get a few more lbs of live rock in there. Other than that looks good, its a long learning process lol

yea this is my third saltwater tank. Sold my other tank because i did back to back deployments. I've got another 25lbs of live rock in the mail at the moment.

Looks good man! I actually just setup this same tank as a frag tank. Looks almost too good to be for frags so I might just change it to a display later. Looking forward to see how you scape it. Is that the marineland stand?

Damn you guys give good gifts haha! That's the two things my girl won't buy me for gifts. Weapons and aquarium stuff. She says I have too much already. U don't say that about all the clothes she comes home with though haha!

just ordered my light and wave maker. Current usa orbit led and jaebo wp10. It ssjpuld all be here hopefully by Wednesday.

Got my live rock today. Have about 25ish lbs in there. Kinda iffy about aquascape. What do you guys think?
