How often should I change my bulbs?

I have the ATI 6+54 dim able sun power fixture. I am running the ATI bulbs, 4 blue plus, 2 coral plus and 1 purple plus... I was just wondering how often I should change out the bulbs for new ones? I was figuring at 8 months but had someone tell me I need to change them every 6 months...

Sunpower is a great fixture - change 10-12 months.

9 to 12 months depending on tank type. Heavy sps, 9 months. With low light stuff you can easily hit 12 months
