Holiday Promo?

Any idea on whether there will be a Holiday promo like last year? I know that there was a cut in cost (which I took advantage of earlier this year along with reeflink). I am looking to start new build and will need some pumps.

Stalking this thread, hoping for some good news. :) There are 3 items I want to buy. With a BF sale = buying all 3; without a BF sale I'll make due with 1 and just wish I had the other two. lol

According to my LFS in San Mateo CA, Ecotech Marine is having a one day special on Friday November 28th, on only a few select items.

In talking to the sales staff at my LFS, there will be 15% off on the MP10, Radion XR15w Pro and one other item, which I forgot to write down.

I already have two MP40's for my 90 gallon reef, but I'm going to purchase two more MP10's, to direct more flow from the back of the tank to the front pane, hoping to keep the glass a little cleaner with direct flow to the main front panel.

Since I'm using Reeflink and it's working absolutely error free, it will be amazing to control 4 Vortech pumps with a few clicks of the computer mouse.

That's cool if they put some MP40s on sale..I just broke down and bought 2 new XR30W's and the Reef link. Wish those would have been on a Black Friday buy. Been picking up things off of BRS they are doing Black Friday deals each day and 15% off on all other things if no one else is aware.

Well that's too bad. I was debating between a couple MP40's and a Maxspect Gyre and was thinking the BF sale would help me make that decision. But with no discount on the MP40s this year, I guess it makes my decision easier!

Same here. I had been on the fence for a pair of MP40's, B/Backup, and Reeflink. Wish they were included as well as I already own a pair of MP10WES. I guess Santa might be getting a 4K Sony XBR this year instead.

For everyone wishing for a sale - if EcoTech is only doing 15% off then - technically - ALL of their stuff is on sale already and through Friday, because Marine Depot is having a site-wide 15% off sale. You can get any EcoTech item (whether EcoTech is doing a holiday promo or not) at 15% off on Marine Depot's website so ~shrug~ if that's what you're waiting for and EcoTech isn't doing anything better than 15% (like last year when they did 20%) then might-as-well just buy from that distributor instead.

Yep, this is correct for every site due to being a MAP item. I am wondering if it has to do with stock/availability. I say this because I purchased my XR30W's from a LFS going on 2 weeks now and they had to order them in. He told me it was taking longer because Echotech had to build them.

Agree...I had some Radions planned but I will likely go a different route if not on sale between now and Monday.

oops, sorry about that guys. Didn't mean to get anyone's hopes up; I AM looking at the RX15 so since Marine Depot shows that one "on sale" for the 15% off I just assumed I guess that it was part of the BF event of the whole site. It's a bummer that EcoTech didn't pick at least one item to do the 20% like they did last year. Based on their pricing it would seem their margins are probably big enough to handle it, but maybe not.
