hey i just got a 180g tank but the back pane is broken so what i need some help is on what type of silicone do i need and if i need to put another brace on top from front to back along the sides or any ideas ??? it measures 6x2x2

I would be very nervous doing my own replacement work on a tank that large, that's a lot of water on the floor if your work isn't perfect.

Momentive RTV is, I think, what you are looking for. To do the job properly, you will have to disassemble the entire tank, clean all surfaces of any trace of old silicone, and start from scratch. I've done a few small tanks (20 & 40b) but wouldn't even consider something that large. If you mess it up, the flaw may not show for weeks or months. The resulting flood, loss of livestock, and damage to the surrounding area will be huge.

^^^ He's right on all counts. But it can be done if you do it right.
