Live Brine Shrimp stick or stuck together

I raise Brine Shrimps in a 5 gallons bucket. I was wondering if anyone else experienced the phenomena were they are stick or stuck together? It looks like some green algae glue them together and they seems to try to swim in different direction.

I've seen this at my LFS a few times. He kept the live brine in a large bin with an air stone, (refrigerated) and when you would see this happen, the batch was pretty much on it's way out. It definitely wasn't a good sign.
