No I don't think that could support 24gallons.. I think it was made for their 3gallon pico..

A reverse image search didn't turn up anything. Does anyone know where these photos were taken?

There's an LFS here that has a system that looks like that... Big commercial stainless skimmer, stainless UV bank, stock tanks built into the floor for a sump. I think the water volume in the filtration system is greater than the total volume of their holding tanks!

that looks similar in size to one of the skimmers at our local aquarium. i got the behind the scenes tour this week and was really impressed with the size of a lot of their equipment

I took these pics myself. It's from the Greensboro Science Center. It's pretty cool, they made the filtration system for the aquariums its own entire exhibit.

That's only like a 75-100 GPM. They make 2000 GPM off the shelf skimmers.

I have the HOB-1, I think this HOB-2 may be a bit oversized for my 29gal though. Maybe when I upgrade to the 125.
