Vanuatu Exquisite Wrasse

I know this is going to be a very difficult hunt, but Im going to see what people have to offer for information.

One of my favorite wrasses is the exquisite. I have looked at the different markings and am dying to get my hands on one from Vanuatu. Most of my local stores dont have them available from their suppliers.

One store said he sees them once in awhile, but Im still skeptical about him saying that.

So I guess, how do I get one of these fish?

I see that Sustainable Reefs has a collecting facility in Vanuatu but I know I cant order directly from them.

good luck. im not sure. I checked the places the others mentioned and none of them seem to have them. All Fiji or Maldives

I got mine from Live Aquaria. I did have to wait for a while for it to be available. I set up an alert and a couple months later there it was. I believe they may be a seasonal fish not 100% on that. I got mine early summer this year. Good luck.

Try to contact them, and request a list of retailers that they supply (online or in your area)

I contacted Sustainable Reefs collection center in Vanuatu. They told me they regularly ship to Cultivated reefs in California. Now I have to find someway to order from them lol. It's a start.

Route 66 marine is wholesaler that brings in fish from Vanuatu. They update their website weekly to show what came in. Any LFS can order from them.
