Custom aquarium top

Hi everyone i an looking into how to keep an eel from escaping. I looked on amazon but nothing would work because of my overflow box. Is there anything that i could get to cover my tank that could custom fit my tank.

When I had my moray I used eggcrate cut very closely around the plumbing and the weighed it down by putting my lights right on top and extra pieces of LR at the corners. He still escaped every once in awhile, but he was ~4' long and as big around as my upper arm.
