Thread started to see performance and results of other owners of this skimmer. Post the following:

Which Model
Sump Height
Number of turns nozzle is open
Percentage wedge is closed
Tank size
Pictures of skimmate


Here I go:
Double Cone 150
Got mine in about 6.5" of water,
Nozzle is 4 turns open
Wedge is about 75% closed
I got 150g DT with 40g sump

I have the DC 150 also. I found it took a long time to settle in. i have it running at 8.5 inches so it skims pretty wet but when i build my new sump ill set it at the correct height. Everyone seems to be having good results with 6-7 inches ;)

I have a bk double king 130 (the small one) coming for my ~ 25 gallon nano system. I had my glass baffles cut to 6 3/4" for my water depth in the new sump I am building for this skimmer. I ordered it a few weeks ago so I will post pics when it gets here, just couldn't wait to get into the club :wave:

does anyone here have the 130?
