Is it possible to quantify bioload based on food input?

Is it possible to figure out how much ammonia I would need to dose an empty qt to support my fishload should i need to medicate the whole bunch? I'd like to avoid an ammonia spike if possible.

Right now I feed 3 cubes of mysis, 3 cubes spirulina brine, 2 angel formula cubes, and a huge pinch of flake 2-3 times a day. They also get a 1/4 sheet of nori a day.

Well, getting a precise formula would be hard, but the good part is that bacteria can grow rapidly to meet demand. I might try adding half the daily food quota to the tank once or twice, to see how it responds, but that's just a way to get close to the output of the fish. I suspect that'll be close enough.
