fire fish tail injured

I got a fire fish today and put it in my bio cube with two clowns and they bit a part of his tail off. So will it grow back?

also should I put it in my 10g with a lid or my 75 with no lid but it does have a wood around the top?

how big is your biocube? chances are, since the clowns were there first and if it's a small tank, the clowns will bully it unmercifully.

are you moving it permanently to the 10g or 75g? all fish are capable of jumping. i wouldn't even have a tank w/o a lid.
