I'm looking to purchase a couple parts which I can't find for my Tunze 9002 skimmer.

It's the clear "L" tube ("venturi elbow") which attaches the air tubing into the pump unit.

I've got two of these on a 28 gallon and a 24 gallon and they clog very easily from salt creep. I love these skimmers but these are a pain.

Can someone please advise a source for purchase? I'd like to buy 4, 2 for each skimmer.

Thanks in advance,

mark

Part 3110.480 on Tunze.com. For what its worth, Lee's used to sell these as airline elbows but they changed to a polyethylene part that is barbed about 8 years ago, if you have an old LFS it might be worth checking if they have them, they used to be 99c most places. If they are clogging with salt creep this generally means the skimmer is periodically being submerged too deep or is under a canopy taking in salt laden air. You should be able to get at least 6 months between cleaning them if you can avoid these scenarios.

Hey Roger, if I order these from the Tunze site, would they ship from Germany or domestic here in the US?

Thanks,

Mark

As long as you select United States when you first get on Tunze.com, the order will be forwarded to me and fulfilled from the US warehouse, this small part generally ships 1st class mail.
