Entering week three of vinegar dosing... was wondering what would be best practice regarding dosing and water changes for nitrate problems.

Assume I do a 25% more change, am I setting the clock back on the nitrate dosing, or should I up one dose by 25%, etc.? Just wondering how to best handle this. thanks.

No, you aren't settin gthe clock back for your carbon dosing. The bacteria eat the carbon you're putting in the tank daily, so you're not trying to build up the vinigar. Don't adjust your vinigar dosing because you did a water change, just go about dosing as planned. The water change will take out a negligable amount of the vinigar. or you can just do the water rchange before you do your daily vinigar dose if you're worried aobut it.

I agree that the water change is fine to do, and I personally wouldn't adjust the dosing. If you want to be very careful, you could add the vinegar just after the water change, but I don't think it'll make a noticeable difference.
