I've attached a picture of my sailfish tang, I apologize for the quality I'm having some water clarity issues right now. He seems to be acting normally and has a healthy appetite. My question is does it appear that he could have black Ich, and/or possibly white ich?
Thanks for your thoughts

That pic is really hard to see. I think most would need a better qaulity pic for accurate assessment. How long have you had this fish?

It does look like black ich. Prazi is the standard treatment.

Black ich the only instance when I would use a fresh water dip. Works like magic.

Why's that? It's an effective tool in other areas too.

Such as? It didn't work for crypto, velvet or brook. If anything it just seems to stress out a fish without remedial effects. But for black ich, I saw the dang things fall off after a dip.

It will give temporary relief for velvet and flukes as well.

Thanks for your opinions, I was working with that assumption but it's sure nice to have somebody else agree with my diagnosis.
