We've all seen those insane t.o.t.m and crazy build threads of set ups that will makes us all drool. Show off your clean, innovative, functional control center. Maybe it's just an apex cleanly installed on the wall, maybe it's a designated watertight panel. Planning on adding a panel into my next stand build. Let's see what you got!

'clean', 'cleanly installed' ...... Hah ..... Not me.

I feel like anyone of us that is constantly tinkering, adjusting, etc are not going to be showing off anytime soon....you might find some fresh builds that have the intention of that and I'm sure there's a few OCD folks that keep up the good looks, not this guy

Lol I understand. Usually my stuff is a mess, an organized mess, but still a mess, I start out with the best intentions of a clean install but then it just goes the way side. This time around I plan on doing a ton of preplanning

Here's mine. Probably could have gotten it a bit neater.

I used a watertight box. I added a STC-1000 controller for heating and cooling, 4 toggle switches control the return pump, skimmer, water change pump and the ATO. The controls for my WP-25's are on the front as well as an aux outlet. The outlets are all cut out in the rear of the unit. I also added a on-make delay timer that delays the start up of my skimmer about 2 minutes to let the levels in the sump stabilize.

My 'control center' is a spaghetti bowl of cords and wires. I am still figuring out how best to do the wire wrangling. I am seriously thinking a break-out box will be required...

Til then ain't NO way I'm showing a pic of my rat's nest...

About as clean as I could make it --- with keeping everything in the stand. Would have liked to have everything on a separate panel on the wall, but the tank is in the dinning room, and the girlfriend wouldn't have been too happy with that. :)

Middle powerbar,

Right powerbar, plus LSM, PM2, and MP40 controller

Left powerbar, main, LDM, WMX, skimmer controller and blank space for future piece.

This is similar to what I have in kind. How do you get the power cables out if you need to change something?

I built this to cover up all wires, pumps, and controllers on the side of my tank.

I'm liking the conduit stuff you have your wires going through. What is it exactly and where did you get it?

You cant see it in the picture, but there are couple of 1 1/2" holes at the top.
I run the power/control cables through the holes into the sump area.
It can sometimes be a pain to swap something out, but not too bad.

I wanted my APEX in the stand, but did not want it exposed to water/salt.

I bought some (( though didn't end up using it, stand wasn't as tall as I thought it was going to be )), from here (http://www.cableorganizer.com/wire-duct/open-slot.html)

Awesome thread! I'm in the process of building a "control center" for my tank and plan to use a Ikea cabinet to house everything. Hope it turns out ok, haha

Here is my current birds nest that I dream of cleaning up. On the next stand build there will be a designated control panel on the side http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/12/15/6190eb7788334f7c03a67a709d8d3707.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/12/15/d3ccd130c5dc1e0bc360cbc58e3d6263.jpg

I still want the wires more organized, but I'm mostly happy with mine.
