Ecotech Mp10es no purple mode and placement

Does anyone elses purple mode actually look pink? all the other modes look correct but the purple one just does not look purple... the pump is from jan 2013. Also what mode do you guys run it on? I was trying to use tidal swell mode but it seems like you need two pumps for that to work.

My tank is a 75 gal with an end overflow so there is no place to put the second pump.

never mind... I guess the pink and purple are the same thing and I'm using the reef crest mode... I also have another question about placement. where could I put two mp10's in a 48'' tank? the tank has a side overflow.
