all,

i heard that a calcium reactor does a great job of keeping calcium and other parameters constant but what do you need to dose to get calcium/magnesium to the levels you want the reactor to maintain?

You can dose various supplement to get the parameters to where you want them, although water changes might skew them. Calcium chloride, baking soda, and a magnesium supplement like Tech-M should be fine. For calcium chloride, Turbo Calcium is fine.
