Hi everybody I've been thinking about ordering a gang of red stoplight cardinalfish for my 60 gallon rimless but haven't been able to find any info on them. They're a gorgeous fish and would contrast well with my chromis but i really haven't been able to find any info on them. If anyone has any experience or opinion on them, please let me know!

Here's a link to them on liveaquaria: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Display.cfm?c=720&pCatId=1870

Following. I have 3 PJ Cardinals doing great. A trio of Reds would be an interesting addition.

I too was interested in keeping this species, especially considering how aggressive the flame cardinals are said to be, and a LFS has had a steady supply of the red stoplights for the past 6 months to a year. From what I can see, they are *extremely* cryptic, and just by their eyes and coloration, you can tell they are nocturnal fish, and most likely wouldn't cope well with bright lighting. I would imagine housing a group would help, as well as providing plenty of shelter from the intense light.

Cardinals in general are nocturnal.
