I'm trying to kill some clove polyps with kalk paste. Some spots are upside down so I want to be able to have a way to hold it for a couple days without falling off.
What say ye experts? Just for a couple days or so?

Non-expert here, but it just doesn't sound right to me, metal.
Any way to use saran wrap?
And that avatar is kind of disturbing.

The avatar is from "We Like the Moon." I haven't been to rathergood.com in years, I wonder if they're still doing stuff. As for tin foil, which I assume is actually aluminum, my guess is that it would be fine. I'd try other means of removal first though.

Wait the things from Quiznos commercials are from something else?
Anyway I have heard of Aluminum toxicity causing problems but not usually at the pH you would be keeping it at.

Yeah, I never knew there was something before Quiznos.

Well now you know. I forgot about those commercials. Haha. The whole site is full of weird stuff like that.

It's probably safe. Al(III) is toxic to many corals, but there is essentially nothing in a reef tank that should be able to oxidize Al(0) to Al(III).
