What do you guys think of my overflow and overall plan?
Would you center the box in the middle of the tank, or offset like I'm planning?

I thing it would be easier to clean and inspect if its off to one side.

center vs offset only matters if you have a center brace. dont put it right under a brace.

also, you should lower the emergency drain to be closer to the proper water level. where you have it now, the tank water level would have to rise a lot in order to drain via the emergency drain at the full flow rate. there's no harm if a few drops make it down the emergency line occasionally.

I wouldn't bother with locline on the return. A full 1.5" pipe at a 45* is how mine terminates in my 75.
