Hi, I was wondering what LED light would fit best for my 118 gallon aquarium. The specs are 36x24x31. I was deciding between putting either:
2 Ocean Revive T247s
2 reef radiance DM-165p+
2 current USA marine orbit
2 taotronics 165w
Just trying to get some recommendations, looking to have a few hard corals if possible and maybe an anemone.
Thanks in advanced.

I currently have the USA marine orbit and I am very disappointed with it, would not recommend it.

thank you for the response! I have now narrowed my choice down to the
TaoTronics TT-AL09 and
OceanRevive T247
any thoughts??

I'm running the ocean revive S026 (same light no timers). Thus far I am very pleased. Good spread, good color. I was a bit worried about the 10 and 12k whites because I have read a lot that neutral whites are better for coloring and less sterile look. However I'm sold on the higher k whites. No more purple look, very natural. But I've been running LED for 3 years so I may be used to it.

Might want to check out the ReefBreeders photon 32 as well. I have the photon 48 over my 120.

Thanks for the feed back! Only problem with the photon 32 is that my aquarium was made with a glass support brace in the middle. So i was thinking of getting two separate smaller LED systems so that the lights aren't getting blocked. I was just wondering about how to hang these? because i don't want to have to go through my ceiling.

You can make your own out of emt electrical conduit and a couple of brackets Once painted they look nice...

Or two photon 16's [emoji3] wall mounts can easily be made.

Why did you remove the reef radiance as an option?

Also if you are still considering the TaoTronics there is an entire thread that reviews these fixtures and I have actually heard some pretty good reviews, especially for the price. The current marine orbit led is fine if it is going to be fish only. Certainly not enough to grow corals though, or have any success with them.

I went with the ocean revive LED's their really nice and having pretty good results with them already!
Thanks for the advice
