Guys,
Just found a really small white star fish in my fish and coral tank. It's less than 1cm in size. Is he size to keep in there or should I remove him?

Thanks
Neil

Almost certainly an Asterina Star. I have hundreds, (or more), in my tanks and have for years without issue. I find them to be a helpful part of the clean up crew.

Others see them as the devil's spawn and act accordingly.

Depends. Many asterina stars are safe other then maybe irritating corals. Some are not safe.

Most likely safe...I did have a few that had some orange in them and were crawling all over my zoa's. Took them out. Otherwise they are usually on the glass or in the sand. Cool conversation pieces.
