Hey everyone im getting too anxious and impatient saving my money for my new led light

But anyways let me tell u a little about me.I have a biocube 14 with about 25lbs of fiji live rock, I have one small tomato clown and about 8 blue legged hermits..

My tank has been set up and healthy for over six months now. My water quality is perfect all levels at 0..I do a 5 gallon water change once a week and I use no filtration other then my live rocks.

Heres a photo of it a few weeks agohttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/01/02/848ebd74dd245e6b2b9d137fade20162.jpg

For the past couple weeks ive been putting a little extra money aside for a decent led light but thats gonna take a lil while.. im just getting so impatient and too anxious for a few corals in my aquarium.

I was wondering do u guys think its possible for me to start getting a couple of less light demanding corals in my biocube 14? I know the colors wont be as vivid as they would in an aquarium with a better light setup but thats ok with me for now just anxious to purchase a couple frags.

I appreciate all comments

Nice looking tank. I would just wait and continue saving. The money your going to spend on frags can go towards your light. I know it's hard looking at an empty tank and wish you could fill it with corals. Patience is the key in this hobby.
Good luck.

frogspawn or torch coral =)

the movement will make you happy, versus getting anything rigid.

I love my Zoas and my clove polyps. the cloves are good creatures to have as they open an close if things happen in the tank they don't. they are my check engine lights LOL

If you want to get some mushrooms or something along those lines then go ahead. They are usually pretty cheap in my area. Be aware that if you get something like xenia or a Kenya tree they can be quite invasive once the take hold.

Currently I just have the stock biocube 14 lighting- 1 24 watt 10k pc bulb and 1 24 watt actinic bulb. But like I said this light isnt gonna be permanent I plan on getting stevesleds retrofit in about a month or two. I just want a few cool frags to hold me over until then.

Mushrooms or zoas would be fine. Maybe a toadstool
