Hello,

Hope an expert can help on this question.

My tank (all parameters very good or better, see detail in signature) sustained an outbreak of crypto. Fish out, treated w cupramine, lost one saved the rest. Tank fallow 72 days. Fish back in. I don't and probably won't though I suppose that may change, have capability to QT inverts. (Condo living, space is tight.) but now do QT all new fish.

Current status all fish look tremendous, eating very very well, lively, great color, etc. New addition is Resplendent Anthias after QT w/ prazi then cupramine to the letter. I did add more CUC about 3 weeks ago.

So - 2x, once about 2 weeks after fallow, which is now about 6-8 weeks ago, and once yesterday, two different fish had ONE very small white dot. By eyeball measurement only, smaller than the crypto dots. Also, these dots disappeared after one or max 2 days, not the usual 3-7 days for the crypto life cycle.

So the 64,000 dollar question: Is it likely that these are crypto trophonts? If so &^#^%#)(*^)^$)^$##@! --- If not, what might they be?

Thank you very much indeed.

Joel
