question on refugium S Protein Skimmer

i was thinking of getting a new Refugium and i need a protein skimmer, i saw one that is both the refugium and protein skimmer ....

has anyone ever used the one that has the skimmer and refugium all in one.

You can run a skimmer in your refugium, or hung on your refugium, but I can't see how they could be one and the same. Not to mention, if you have them together, they would compete for nutrients.
Do you have a sump?

I think CPR makes those fuge/skimmer setups.

I do not have a sump, and i have the CPR refugium, i was just looking at putting another protein skimmer on the tank HOB and saw there was one with both. if i have to get a longer refugium maybe a skimmer could fit ........ i was thinking about the Aqua C Remora but i cant seem to find any reviews.
