I would like to have some snails in my tank and i found them on the beach. Is this safe ? http://prntscr.com/5pfa7c

should is freshwater bath first?
fresh water bath with anti ick?

Where did you collect them?

When I collected my own clean up crew in the past from the gulf, I would keep them in a separate tank for awhile. Just something that made me feel more comfortable. But I knew people who just threw them in after acclimation.

I collected them from the beach.. Yes I think i will be same route to you. I just put it in separate tank.. Another question is , are those snails good? Thanks

The one with the trunk looks like a NaSsarius to me. That's a good one. The one on the top right looks like a sundial. Not a good one. Not sure about the other two. Collection site might help folks identify them.

the 2 on bottom right look like nassarius snail , which is a really good sand stirrer.

depending on how sterile your tank is, it could introduce unwanted pests.

Thank you guys for the info. I jsut put 6x nassarius snails as stated above but I did not put the others yet. I think the sundial is DOA. others are actively happy in the small tank.
