mag 5 skimmer pump

Not sure if this is technical enough to put in the DIY, so I will ask a general question here. Can I remove the impeller of my mag 5 and replace it with one that creates more microbubbles? If so, what skimmer impellers fit the mag 5 that would do this.

If I recall correctly you will want the air fractioning impeller you might need to also replace the housing but can't remember on that part for sure. The motor blocks are the same though.
