So yesterday I noticed one of the heads on my Frogspawn was retracted. I didn't think anything of it that head has retracted before and it was always fully expanded the next day. Well today I look at the tank and the same head is still retracted so I look closer and around the back some of the tentacles look like they are eroding away. I don't know what this could be all my fish are reef safe and the only crabs I have are scarlets. You can see the pic of it above the waterline how its retracted and the other pic shows the tentacles I mentioned.

Thanks for the help.

did it get bumped at all?

Also Nitrates and Phosphates at 0 need to be careful you don't strip all nutrients from the water, I believe LPS need a little in there to get on with life.

It didn't get bumped, not that i know of.

Yeah I know the nutrients are low. I have some calcium nitrate I was just a little worried about dosing it. I recently had to lower the nutrients because of an outbreak of bryopsis. I was successful in ridding it from the tank but I agree my nitrate needs to come back up.

The other head is fine which is puzzling you would think if parameters were what was affecting it, it would be the whole coral and not just one head.
