Range of AWM and WXM modules

That is how far away from the AI and Echotech controllers can they be? I am considering moving my sump to a room in the basement and Apex will be there. About 20 feet way from the controllers

I have my wxm at my tank, which is about 15' and a floor up from my sump and apex. Downstairs I have a frag tank with the 3rd radion and they all communicate just fine. I guess I didn't need to run an aquabus cable through the floor.
