I replaced my 15 year old typhoon3 with one of your systems. Couldn't be happier.

I'm left with a sytem that has new filters and a year old membrane. I had thoughts of giving it away, selling it for $50 to recouple the fresh filters cost, but recently have been thinking of setting it up as a drinking system. I even have a permeate pump and two 3gal tanks laying around somewhere.

I assume this is a stupid question but since i have strong chloramines how does this effect the quality of the water? The carbon blocks remove the chlorine but... What about the ammonia. Do we have to drink it? I don't want to run di on it.

Additionally if im going to use it for drinking water it is going to get plumbed to ro faucets in all the bathrooms (3) as well as the fridge and my fish room. Should I use a uv? If im going to do it I want to do it right.

Any suggestions? I know you guys are full of solutions :)

Please call us at 1-800-685-2783 and select the engineering design department on Monday.

This would be too involved for a back-and-forth here.
