Black and White Chromis (Chromis margaritifer)

Yes, I realize all chromis are damsels.

Does anyone have any other insight? I've searched and there are people asking questions but not many answers.

Are they similar to blue/green chromis? Do they kill one another off until one remains?

They seem to shoal from what I've seen.
Given the limited behavior I've seen, they also seem to establish a pecking order similar to lyretail anthias.

Anytime I have seen them in tanks their behavior seems to be more like Chrysiptera damsels, peaceful for a damsel, but still territorial. I have found they do not shoal, but rather form small territories singly or in pairs. Once paired they readily spawn in aquaria.
