What's the best way to scrape glass?

Within a $50 budget or so. I have good magnet cleaners, but to get coraline off without scraping my arm against sps or anemones. I've been using scrapers that require me putting my arm in the tank and I'm done with that. I got stung by my Rbta today and it's time to rethink things. I know of a bunch of options, so what's the most popular/best?

I love this, hasn't scratched the glass, may look around and find it cheaper, get some replacement blades with as well. I remove the blade and rinse it with tap water and dry it with a paper towel and use it again and again.

Uhhh hehehe. Me being 15 with low budget I just got a piece of pbc curved it slightly and put a old debit card on it with a bottle and a half of super glue...

A razor blade is the best way to get coraline off glass for sure , but if you don't want your hands in the tank you can make a DIY scraper, for me it's the next best thing after a razor blade. All you need is a piece of acrylic 1/4'' to 1/2'' thick with clean cut edge about as wide as a Credit card and 2 feet long. You can use this starting at the top and scrape down to the bottom you will pull 95% of the coraline off with the first swipe, holding it on about a 45° angle.

Anyone use the Tunze Care on coralline yet?
Works great on the other algaes, and pretty much impossible to scratch your glass.

And those who are using any magnet with a razor blade... do you have any special technique?
When pushing the blade back and forth, I'm not worried about it scratching the glass.
What worries me is rotating the blade, like when you get to a corner and need to move to the next pane, or you just need to change directions.

I ordered one from BRS. They had a $10 coupon so I got 10 blades and the scraper that hooks onto the mag float for under $20 shipped

Go get a plastic handle razor blade paint scraper. I think they are $15-20 at the hardware store.

Flipper is the best I've used. I don't worry about budget as typically a scraper is $10-30, thus one of the cheapest pieces of equipment you will buy. While also being one you will use multiple times each week.

With glass, I use the Home Depot tile scraper. Blades are long and inexpensive. I rinse them and when they rust throw them out.

For glass, I like using some type of razor blade scraper. I find those work best.
