View Full Version : Who Makes The CUT!!!

So, I have a lot of corals in my frag tank that would love a shot at the bigtime in the display, but there's just not enough space for all of them... So, I would be interested to see a ranking of what you guys think are most deserving of getting called to the big leagues.

I have room for 2-4 corals. So, give me your top 3 or 5 in order... Thanks for the help!

if you do not have a lot of room I would stay away from millie, and hyacinthus/ cytheria type, as they grow really fast. You might want to consider if you want a table coral in the spot you want to put it, that will cut the choice down a bit.

Great dilemma-- I look at my current colonies and look for color and shape combos that really can highlight the main tank. Sometimes, the least colorful may take precedence depending on what I am trying to accomplish...anyway,no slouches in your selection there!

Personally I wouldn't put any of those in your tank. What you should do is put them in small little plastic bags and ship them to me, I can pm you my address if you decide to go that route. But failing that and you really want them in your tank I would go 12, 1, 4, and 9. You certainly have a dilemma on your hands but I don't think you can go wrong with any of those frags. All stunning!

Nope, Redbull colony already in the display. THat one doesn't look much like it IMO. There are some RR pieces in there though...

I'm glad you have this problem and not me, I don't have enough self control. I would be stuffing them all in there. I even glued a 1/8 inch tip frag to the return in my tank, dang thing has taken off with growth and now completely covers the loc-line. :)

1.2.4.12. I ll take the rejects since you're out of room. This is a good problem to have. I have some very large lps colonies I need to trade out myself but it's weird because they have sentimental value and it's hard to get rid of them. Good luck.
