I am getting an apex controller. My question is if I have to buy an extra module for control. Should I just buy a reef link for xr15w pro and mp10. And control the rest with apex? Thanks!

You'll need the WXM to control them --- one module will be to control both the lights and the powerheads.

I have one for my 2 MP40s, only been running for a month (( new set up )), but so far I am very pleased with it.

I would think it would be best to control them through the APEX, allows you to use all the APEX features on them --- and integrate them to your system better.

Ok thanks for your reply. I think I am going to go with WXM. I just wish Neptune offered it in a package.

Love my vortech pumps but, let's be honest, the native controller is not the most intuitive thing in the world. Moving to apex control makes things SO MUCH easier.

The cost of a WXM and Reeflink are pretty close last I looked. I went with the WXM for the integration with the rest of my system. I can much more easily tie programs together, such as putting MP's into feed mode with the press of a button.

I really like my Apex + WXM setup with Radions & Vortechs. Integrated scheduling & feed mode is great.
