Just placed an order with Indo-Pacific Sea Farms that includes their Mama Mia Worms, Bristle Worms, and Coralline Algae booster among other things...

I have a DSB so I needed some additional life to help stir up the sand bed and I used BRS dry rock so I think the Corraline algae booster is going to help jump start the growth on my aquascape....

I was wondering though has anyone used IPSF products before and what did you think?

I'll keep everyone posted on my order, everything should arrive Friday.

Wow, it has been 15 years since I placed an order with IPSF; I was happy with the animals. Good to see them still around.

Sorry for the delay for those of you who may be following the post... but here is the update.:

First of all, I was updated promptly by IPSF when the package would be sent out and the intended delivery date. Not uncommon when ordering livestock online, but I was still very impressed having had some issues with other online stores. The order came Friday morning, on time and without issue.

After signing for the package (which is required) I immediately noticed how well sealed it was:

The packaging was fit snug into the shipping box and when opening the package I also noticed the high quality insulation and heating package used:

I also noted the individual items were placed inside the box as to not shake rattle and roll during the shipping. Each item was securely tied off by multiple rubber bands, which wasn't ideal when acclimating the livestock, but I guess better safe than sorry. BTW their acclimating instructions (found on their website) were easy to follow.

Each item was labeled and the writing was legible I might add, which was nice since I completely blanked on what I had ordered... and was pretty excited to open everything up

I would finally like to report that all the specimens I received were alive and well... all the items I received were exactly what I expected and I was impressed with IPSF. I will definitely order from them in the future.

Hope this helps for those of you looking to purchase from their website, because I really didn't find much else before I placed my order.

Thanks for the review, I've been kicking around the idea of getting the mix and match.

I've kept a DSB for the last 18 years, and have used both their Live sand activator (http://www.ipsf.com/livesand.html), and reef worm diversity pack (http://www.ipsf.com/reefworms.html) added at start up and as boosters every couple years to keep the DSB healthy.

Wow, eighteen years is a long time. Do you have an up to date picture of the tank by any chance?

My DSB only made it to 9 years and then my tank cracked. :(

second Cloak's comment... do you have any pictures? I plan on doing the same to keep my DSB thriving, so far so good.

I'm really sorry to hear about that, my tank is only 3mos old, so I can only hope my DSB will last as long as yours and others...was the DSB toxic or was there another issue?

iPSF is a great company and been around for some time. I have placed several orders and even contacted via phone and email with great success and response time. Everything arrived alive and packaged similar.

I have used their deep sand clams, various snails, golden leather frag, mini stars, coral food, among other things. I really like their approach to propagation and the hobby in general.

I had to break it down last April after a CABG in February, but here is the last FTS I have. Sorry for the bad pic, photography wasn't my forte.

A local reefer bought the entire contents of my system, including the substrate, and reused it. Interestingly enough, there was no sign of HS after all that time.
