I'm new to this sight and the hobby I have had fresh and salt water a long time ago. But just started this up again. I have an octagon tank set up that's about 55 gallons it's actually 2 tanks joined together with 2 4 inch tubes. I want to install a sump refugium system. Tanks are not drilled.should I use hob overflow or drill holes? Main question is. Sence they are really separate tanks do I need 2 overflows 2returns? Or will there be a possibly of enough water movement between the tanks. Going to try and attach a pic of my tank to show what I'm talking about. Also if I decide to drill holes how from from the top should the holes be? Any input would be helpful
