Hello,
I need help with a 90 gallon aquarium I am putting together. I am looking for suggestions on a skimmer and sump size that I would need. My stand is 48" wide x 24" to the bottom of the aquarium. It is a short stand. I was originally looking at a sump kit from Windrider Creations with the size being 35 x 15 x 15. I also see that my local pet store has 20 long aquariums for sale now. I know the rule of thumb is get the largest sump that will fit in your stand. My question is which skimmer would you recommend, what water level do I need and will there be a problem if I go with the sump kit with getting the skimmer out to clean.
