I have a citron goby in quarintine. It eats frozen food but will not swallow pellets or flake food that I try to feed him. IT puts the food in his mouth and then spits it back out. I tried not feeding it for a couple of days then retrying but no luck. I soak all food in garlic gaurd. He is starting to loose weigth. There is a black spot inside his body just above his stomach. Which is only visiable from one side. Could that be a parisite.
If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

Just had similar issues with a pair of citron clowns i got. Have you tried live brineshrimp? thats what first got mine to feed. Also mine ONLY eat brineshrimp, they will ALWAYS spit out mysis.

Had to buy frozen enriched brine just for them because of it. i've also hear good things about cyclops eeze.

If he eats frozen food, fatten him up on it. Cyclopeeze should help.
Picture of the spot will help.

Thanks for the advice. I did try Cyclopeeze but it never went for it. I am going to have to feed it more than just once a day I guess. I was hoping to get a picture tomorrow of him.

Just feed him whatever he'll eat, in large amounts, until he's fat.
