He guys I was wondering if I would be able to run my waste water line back into the pipes because I have 2 needle piercing valves already on the cold water pipe and one wasn't being used. Here's a picture of it. You guys think it would be OK to do it? http://i1370.photobucket.com/albums/ag268/moealhamadi/2015-01-29-15-40-45_zpsiitfe6am.png

Well, you'd have pressure pushing water the wrong way at that point. I can't imagine it would work right.

It wont work, those pipes are under pressure, and it's not like the water companies meter will go backwards (I would think)

It won't work... you wouldn't have an imbalance of pressure (which is needed for flow).

Well, it would flow I think, both the inlet and the waste line would be taking in water, and it would still output to what would normally be the filtered water line. Unfortunately, the water coming in from the waste line would be unfiltered and full of chlorine. Say goodbye to that membrane.

Oh yah, I completely forgot about the pressure it would push back into the Rodi system. Well at least I didn't try it yet. Thanks guys for the help
