This is my 29 gallon. It's been up for a week. Just added the live rock last night. Hope to see some signs of more pink stuff in a few weeks. Any thoughts?<a href="http://s1379.photobucket.com/user/Gerald_Fearrington/media/DSC_5090_zps6508a7bd.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah128/Gerald_Fearrington/DSC_5090_zps6508a7bd.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo DSC_5090_zps6508a7bd.jpg"/></a> (<a href="http://s1379.photobucket.com/user/Gerald_Fearrington/media/DSC_5090_zps6508a7bd.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah128/Gerald_Fearrington/DSC_5090_zps6508a7bd.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo DSC_5090_zps6508a7bd.jpg"/></a>)

your aquascaping looks impressive! Lots of nooks, crannys and swim throughs for future inhabitants. Great places for coral too. Good luck!

Looks good. Be careful what you wish for with the pink stuff. You'll be cursing it as you scrap it off your front glass.

I agree Coralline looks really good when its on the rocks, once its on the glass you will curse it haha. Nice formation looks natural and very stable

Thanks for the comments. I agree with the algae but i want to get some stuff growing!!!! I'm impatient but will take my time. Should i do a water change now or wait until it is done cycling? I would think changing water would slow down the cycling.

Latest additions. Will it hurt if its against the back glass?

Not necessarily "hurt" but it will make it impossible to clean the back glass completely with magnet without first moving the rock. Not sure how important a clean back glass is to you.

Good deal. I would recommend using superglue, epoxy, pvc skewers or some combination of these to hold the rocks together to prevent rock slides in the future. Little more work, but the time to do it is now while the tank is still empty.
